A clever director Dayan Padmanabhan, talented actor and writer Naveen Krishna and shrewd media man KM Veeresh in combination ‘Actor’ received tumultuous welcome and superb review from stalwarts at the recent 8th Bengaluru International Film Festival.

Grabbing good attention ‘Actor’ team came before the media for the first time with two songs on screen, trailer and one song live performance in addition to new creativity from Naveen Krishna song for the occasion on Saturday. Jayanna Combines is distributing this film with lot of commercial values and touching moments in the contents. It is Naveen Krishna and Sihikahi Geetha in the lead roles. Gautham Srivatsa music and Suresh Byrasandra cinematography two other top additions to the already hailed ‘Actor’. One of the songs for this film is penned by stalwart actor Srinivasamurthy and it is Srinivasamurthy who sounded clap board for ‘Actor’.

The key specialty of this film is one place, two characters and 100 minutes duration in reformed director from ‘Haggada Kone’ Dayal Padmanabhan.

KM Veeresh producing the film in Chitraloka Movies heard two stories in five minutes. In just two minutes he decided on making this film. He thanked half a dozen closets who helped in his task. Apparently Veeresh did not feel the difficult of making a cinema. With a director like Dayal Padmanabhan I would do two films a year he stated.

For Gautham Srivatsav is always wonderful to work with Dayal as director, the chemistry is so good he says. Cameraman Suresh Byrasandra hearing to the story decided to hold the camera at any cost.

I cannot do this kind of film again. A multi talented and multi tasking personality Naveen Krishna became emotional in his address. Writing dialogues for the film made me to prepare. I just went before the camera and behaved. It is Dayal Padmanabhan who discovered new things in me and I did not know it to myself pointed Naveen Krishna.

Dayal Padmanabhan in his address stated frankly that Naveen Krishna is talented than him. He has the surplus of talent but don’t know how to channelize with required quantity. I have just taken what is required in his talent complimented Dayal. At this age of 45, I have got maturity to make meaningful films expressed Dayal Padmanabhan. He thanked KM Veeresh for not poking nose on anything related to creativity.
